'Search For Rescue' Book Reviews

Book review by Lois Lambert, editor for The Ekalaka Eagle newspaper.
Anyone with interest in Native American history, Welsh history, search and rescue dog training, student or teaching concerns, Montana, Wyoming, North or South Dakota history, or Southeastern Montana would find this book captivating. For others, the writing style and techniques are very unusual and easy to understand. I am reading it a second time, and will offer a two page review for a Southeastern Montana newspaper. One thing I particularly enjoyed were chapters narrated by the search dog, Gwylm.
This book is a thriller, perfect for discussions at book clubs. I'm recommending it to the local one I host every month. Because it is available in Kindle, Nook, and hard copy, anyone could have it. Libraries should have it, too. This work was self published, but large scale publishers missed their chance at a best seller.
Book review by James Evans, Kansas City, MO
The book has interesting believable characters and a complex and interesting plot. I began the book intending to read one chapter and found I needed to get back to it to learn more about the story. Before I knew it I had completed the book. I recommend it highly. Every story is told in the words of the primary character and also from the words of Gwylm, her collie tracking dog. The author manages to make this method work very well in this book.
Nook Book ReviewHighly Recommended.
This was a very intriguing story set in modern day suspense filled action drama in the west.

The setting for the book Search For Rescue takes place mostly in the Long Pines of the Sioux Ranger District of the Custer National Forest in Southeastern Montana. Capitol Rock National Natural Landmark is located in this setting and is a dominant part of the Long Pines.
